Heaven Dances

Open up the windows of heaven
Pour out your anointing on me
One touch from God’s hand
I’ll proclaim Jesus name out loud
With arms lifted high, and hands raised high,
I’ll dance like a carefree child
His love for me is beautiful like a mother who breastfeeds her newborn baby
I am new
His creation
I am in Christ Jesus
I am His child
Old things are passed away
He doesn’t look at my past anymore
It’s hidden and forgotten
Behold all things have become new
I am new
God made me  his child
I will dance for him
I am giddy and joyful
I will dance for him like David danced
Heaven Dances for me everyday

Hello this is a poem I wrote several years ago, and I had my mom to illustrate the poem, “Free.”  In case you’re wondering what’s on the painting. This is continuation of my ,”Fire,” series. I’m not a very good photographer, and the original is better than the picture above. Don’t judge me…be kind thanks. If anyone is interested in buying the poem, “Free,” and the painting please comment below. Thanks. Let’s play a game: In the comments below write what you think it was that I ran toward. Lol.

I sat under a tall tree that hid me from the rays of sun.

Quietly, I sat still

watching the bees buzzing, and swirling around a mass of white lilies

I looked over at a frog leaping from green lily pads singing a cheerful tune.

Silence fell-

And calmness visited the earth

In the distance,

I saw a magnificent sight

I jumped to my feet and ran toward beauty

It flew around my head and I tried to catch it

But it escaped from my clutches

Flying up, up, into the sky.

Burn in me a fire that won’t burn out

A fire that I can’t hold in

A fire that sparks light- producing heat of intensity and everlasting life.

I don’t fear the burning within me

The Bible calls it the Holy Ghost

Third one of the Trinity

Third person of the Godhead

The first person revealed in scripture

He’s many things, so I’ll call him, “Helper.”

He keeps God’s word in my heart

His fire gives me strength

It’s fierce, acute, and soul searching

I am the candle and He is the flame of light bursting through me and all around me.

The fire is burning everything that isn’t like him

I will offer up a sweet fragrance.

Like prophet Jeremiah

I can’t keep quiet

Although people try to muzzle my mouth shut

Stomp out my confidence

Stifle my gifting, but they’ll never take him from me.

I will burn with flames of light to light the path for others.

I will burn with flames of His love to share with others

I will burn with flames of righteousness. I am His and He is mine.

I will burn with flames of passion

He suffered death, life and resurrection for all.

God’s passion is light

He’ll light my way

He’ll continue to burn, burn, burn, burn into my soul

With every passing day, I’ll give Him praise

For this precious Gift

Paradise:My Inheritance

Heaven Is Paradise

How can I get back to Paradise?

Supposedly it’s a place for me.

But it doesn’t seem real to me.

I’m told it’s not a dream or fairytale.

It isn’t fiction/It’s my inheritance you see.

My spiritual parents had authority over all earthly things.

I can’t wrap my mind around the fact that I’m a Kings kid/reigning in high places/walking on streets of gold/nations giving into my bosom.

I’m told that I’m an Eagle with wings, and that my purpose is to sing.

Heaven is Paradise

Paradise is Heaven

Not made my man’s hands

Designed and crafted by God/the original designer.

Creator of this world/All things he made.

He knows our spiritual parents sinned, but God doesn’t hold that against you and me.

Eve tempted by Satan/Adam tempted by Eve

Then God reminded me that if I come into His Rest/Salvation

I’ll have Life/Everlasting Life

        An Abundant Life

Life of peace and Victory.

This world isn’t my home.

I’m just passing through until He parts the sky.

For now I’ll go through Pain and Joy until he comes Back.

       Heaven is Paradise

       Paradise is Heaven

Live a Holy Life

Keep His Word

Follow His Light

and I’ll live in Paradise………

Build Me An Altar

are killed in the , Leviticus 10:2
Image via Wikipedia

Johnathon Stockstill

This is a wonderful song by a great singer named, “Johnathon Stockstill.”  The name of the song is, “Build Me An Altar.”  I urge everyone to listen to the song, and build God an Altar.  Not a profane fire like Eli sons, Nadab and Abihu offered unto God. (Leviticus 10: 1).  But an altar to God from your heart is an excellent way to praise God.  God is after our heart.  In the Old Testament, altars were made out of unwrought stone, or the earth.  An altar would be placed in churches, temples, and other places of worship.

Hebrews 13:10 says, “We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.”  This means, Christians had an altar where others who didn’t believe in Jesus could not partake.  A reference to the eternal, once-for-all sacrifice of Jesus Christ.  Now we don’t have to build an earthly altar.  The altar is in our hearts, prayers, and praises unto God.
Eli’s sons took censors and entered the tabernacle, and burned incense. They failed to ask Moses permission.  How many of us do things without seeking God first?

They burned incense on their own. Instead of, taking fire from the altar, which was newly kindled before the Lord, by Moses. They took fire from the flesh of the peace-offering and it wasn’t, “holy fire.”(Exodus 30:9)   When we build God an altar, we need to give God glory.  We need to reference His power.  Yes, it seemed harsh for Eli’s sons to lose their lives. But no doubt, it probably wasn’t their first time sinning against God.     Several chapters before it speaks of them having sex with the women in the church.
God doesn’t punish our sins right away. He gently tugs at our hearts to change. His first attempts are quiet during our daily routines.  Then if we don’t listen to Him, we’ll suffer the consequences.  How many of you punish your children when they disobey?  God isn’t any different.  Just like you love your children-God loves you too!  He wants the best for you.

Will you build God an altar today?  Not just any old way of praise, but true worship.  When you first fell in love, you couldn’t wait to be with that person.  They took your breath away.  You stayed up all night long talking and laughing.  Wow!  Everyday you called each other, or waited for each other after work.  Well, it’s just like that with Jesus too!  Spend time with God everyday.  Don’t be afraid to share your deepest thoughts with Him.  He loves to listen, and share things with you.

Why don’t you try Jesus today?

I’m getting goosebumps all over me.  Jesus is so amazing to me.  You can build an altar at home, work, the car, on vacation, etc.  Wherever you go don’t forget to take the Lord with you. O.k.?  Last but not least, don’t forget to pray.  The Bible tells us to pray everyday. (2 Thess. 5:17).  Don’t feel bad if you forget.  Just repent, and pray.

Enjoy the song!
